Bank of the West: Bank of the West provided continued support to Opportunity Junction in the form of a grant to the Administrative Careers Training Program. Bank of the West’s corporate philanthropy program seeks to respond to economic challenges and promote healthy neighborhoods in the communities served by the bank, funding nonprofits working in a number of areas, including job training and employment.
Chevron: As part of its Social Investment Partnership Initiative, Chevron awarded Opportunity Junction a grant for core operating support, as well as Gold Sponsorship for our 2022 Imagine Gala. Chevron supports a range of job training and workforce development programs that provide opportunities for people to learn career-building skills to succeed in the jobs of the future.
CoCo Farms: CoCo Farms provided its first funding to Opportunity Junction as part of its social equity program in Antioch. In addition to beginning a long-term funding partnership with our organization, CoCo Farms will serve as an Employer Partner to OJ. We are thrilled to begin this partnership.
Keller Canyon Landfill Mitigation Fund: Contra Costa County’s Keller Canyon Mitigation Fund awarded us a grant supporting Administrative Careers Training Program participants from Bay Point, and Pittsburg. Supervisor Federal Glover leads the board that administers the funding which supports a wide range of programs affecting quality of life for residents in the vicinity of the Keller Canyon Landfill, including public safety, youth development, and community beautification. We are proud to be long- standing partners with the fund.
Marathon Petroleum Corporation: Marathon Petroleum made a grant to support Opportunity Junction’s Administrative Training Program, helping to ensure that our trainees gain the skills and confidence to enter careers in the administrative field. Marathon is committed to strengthening communities through its community investment program.
